Day 3 : Drive from Kathmandu to Pokhara

Today, we drove from Kathmandu to Pokhara, taking the Prithvi Highway, which is a major road connecting the two cities. The distance between Kathmandu and Pokhara is approximately 200 kilometers, and the journey takes around 6-7 hours by car.

As you drive from Kathmandu to Pokhara, you will pass through several small towns and villages, including Naubise, Damauli, and Dumre. You will also pass through the beautiful town of Bandipur, which is known for its charming Newari architecture and stunning views of the Himalayas.

Day 4 : Drive from Pokhara to Beni to Tatopani

The drive from Pokhara to Beni is a scenic one, with views of the Annapurna mountain range and the Marsyangdi river. The distance from Pokhara to Beni is about 75 km and the drive takes about 3-4 hours, depending on road conditions and traffic. 

From Beni, you can continue your journey to Tatopani, which is about 90 km away and takes about 4-5 hours to reach by car. Tatopani is known for its hot springs, which are believed to have therapeutic properties. 
 

Day 5 :  Drive from Tatopani to Kagbeni and visit Muktinath Temple

On the fifth day of your journey, you will start your drive from Tatopani to Kagbeni. The drive will take you through some stunning landscape, with breathtaking views of the Himalayan mountains and the Kali Gandaki river.

The Syngboche Pass is a high mountain pass located in the Annapurna region of Nepal, at an altitude of 3,780 meters. Day 7 : Drive to Lo-Mangthang

On day 7, we will be driving from Ghami to Lo-Mangthang. The journey will take us through winding mountain roads and breathtaking landscapes. We will be able to see the snow-capped peaks of the Himalayas in the distance and the rolling hills of the countryside. 

The drive to Lo-Mangthang will take us around 6 hours, so we will need to start early in the morning to make sure we reach our destination by mid-afternoon. Once we arrive in Lo-Mangthang, we will be able to check into our accommodation and spend the rest of the day exploring this historic and culturally significant town.

Day 8 : Exploration day in Lo-Mangthang and Chhosar

Today, we will spend the day exploring the beautiful village of Lo-Mangthang and the nearby Chhosar region. Lo-Mangthang is known for its stunning views of the Himalayan mountains, ancient monasteries, and traditional Tibetan culture. 

We will start the day by visiting the Tashi Lhakhang Monastery, which is home to several ancient Tibetan artifacts and scriptures. Afterward, we will take a short hike to the Namgyal Chorten, a popular stupa with stunning views of the surrounding landscape.

Day 9 : Drive back to Jomsom
